on:It was an amazing experience to ski into a finish packed with thousands of American ski racing fans! And I am happy to have scored my first couple World Cup points of the season with a 29th place in the giant slalom!!

Summer Camp – Mt. Hood

on:What can I say about spending three weeks working with the next generation of young ski racers on the glacier in Mt. Hood, Oregon? Fun, fulfilling…..and hard work!

on:I spent the month of April working at Alaska Rendezvous heli ski guides! Deep in the Chugach mountains, 45 miles outside of Valdez, I took some time to take a break after a long winter of racing, make plans for the future and experience a completely new aspect of the sport I love: skiing! Sometimes you have to take chances to find happiness 🙂

In addition to skiing, while in Alaska, I collected Rainier beer tabs and in doing so planted over 300 trees in the Pacific Northwest. Check out the movement:

on:For me, the World Cup night SL in Zagreb was a dream come true! For the last ten years I have wanted to race in Zagreb but this year was my first opportunity. To move up from bib 62 to 20th place made me feel like my own personal Snow Queen!
